Aura bought me a kaval, it is a traditional Macedonian instrument, sort of a flute made of wood. She got it from the most known instrument-maker there, hi sold it as his most precious pocession. I was delighted. For two years now I have been trying to produce a sound with it, not even a note but a single sound. I have spend hours and hours in my room on Ruzveltova street, my parents went crazy. Time and time again I persisted blowing and blowing and blowing untill I realised there is crack in the wood.
